2010 CHILDREN’S DAY OF BROADCASTING CELEBRATED ON “THE LAND IS GREEN”

To commemorate the last Children’s Day of Broadcasting, the students of Anu Olu International College, Panseke, Abeokuta held a special programme on Paramount FM, 94.5 to speak on the right of the children. The students deplored and condemned the killing of children and their mothers on the attack on Dogon Nahawa village, Jos early week of March, 2010.
The programme was aired on March 9, 2010 by 9.40am on our regular radio programme broadcasting every Tuesdays by 9.40am titled “THE LAND IS GREEN”. The producer is Mr. Dolapo Ezekiel. The 2010 Children’s Day of Broadcasting theme is “All Children, All Right”.
“THE LAND IS GREEN” has open greater opportunity to our students; it is part of the programme packaged by the school management to ensure that our students are socially and intellectually relevant in the society as more as we strive for academic excellence.
