OUR STUDENTS BAGGED AWARDS @ Ijemo Titun Junior School’s Literary and Debate Day on Tuesday 13th April, 2010.
The school was represented by six students (Shobowale Funmilayo-JSS3, Adefowokan Emmanuel-JSS3, Akinleye Odunola-JSS3, Osunrinde Damilare-JSS2, Yekinni Mufuliat and Olonisakin Bisola, led by Miss. Opara Frances O. and Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi at the Ijemo Titun Junior School’s Literary and Debate Day on Tuesday 13th April, 2010.
The school was presented with the following awards…

Novelty football match,Thursday18th of March, 2010,
On Thursday, 18th of March, 2010, Novelty football match was organized by the school management between the students and the members of staff. The match ended 4 – 2 in favour of the students. The student team was led by the proprietor, Mr. Bola Lawal, the teachers team also paraded array of skillful players like Mr. Israel, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi, Mr. Dawodu, Mr. Efuape, Mr. Balogun, Mr. Giwa, Mr. Ijiola, Mr Jolomi…

2010 CHILDREN’S DAY OF BROADCASTING CELEBRATED ON “THE LAND IS GREEN”
To commemorate the last Children’s Day of Broadcasting, the students of Anu Olu International College, Panseke, Abeokuta held a special programme on Paramount FM, 94.5 to speak on the right of the children. The students deplored and condemned the killing of children and their mothers on the attack on Dogon Nahawa village, Jos early week of March, 2010.
The programme was aired on March 9, 2010 by 9.40am on our regular radio programme broadcasting every Tuesdays by 9.40am titled “THE LAND IS GREEN”. The producer is Mr. Dolapo Ezekiel. The 2010 Children’s Day of Broadcasting theme is “All Children, All Right”.
“THE LAND IS GREEN” has open greater opportunity to our students; it is part of the programme packaged by the school management to ensure that our students are socially and intellectually relevant in the society as more as we strive for academic excellence.

Tuesday 23rd, February 2010 one of our students, George Azubuike was invited to Vanguard Newspaper Publishing house, in Lagos for an interview. He was accompanied by the fine art instructor Mr. Adeniyi Olusegun and other student, Babalola Victor.
The interview on George was published with pictures of his works on Thursday, March 11th page 33 and Sunday March 14, 2010, page 34.

“Golden Jubilee” ARTICLE COMPETITION
WIN A DATE WITH PROPRIETOR WITH THE PROPRIETOR ON vALENTINE DAY
WIN A DATE WITH PROPRIETOR … was an event packaged by the school management to educate the students and correct the wrong notions about the valentine day. Sunday February 14th 20 10, the emerged 16 student’s winner from our essay competition went on a date with the Proprietor at the Sweet Sensation, Abeokuta. Mr. Adeniyi Olusegun, Mr. Efuape D.A. and Mrs. Adesola Lawal were also present, the students each were treated to a delicious meal, fried rice and chicken. The highest point of the date was the tete-a-tete each student had with the proprietor, Mr. Bola Lawal.

End of the year/Christmas party was held on Thursday 17th December 2009 at the school premises with array of events including…
Welcome Address/ Speech by Proprietor, Carol Songs by School Choir, Cultural Dance, News / Mock News, Chairperson’s Speech, Drama Presentation (Title: Birth of Christ), Riddles and Jokes, Inter – Class Dancing Competition, Poem and Ewi, Presentation by Press club, Comedy show, Chorography, Carol Songs by School the Choir and other creative display by the students.
On Tuesday 15th December, 2009
On Tuesday 15th December, 2009, the school as part of her social responsibility of giving back to the society paid a visit to the orphanage home, Stella Obasanjo Children Home. Gifts worth thousands of naira were donated to the home.
Earlier that day the press club paid a courtesy visit to the Gateway Mirror publishing house. The reception was fantastic; a speech delivered by the Gateway Mirror editor, Mr Dare Folarin was quite impartful. The total of 32 Students, four staff (Mr. Osuntoyinbo Gbenga, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi, Miss. Opara F., Mr. Bamidele), the principal, Mr. Ogunyinka (on Santa Claus costume) and the Director of Administration, Mrs. Adesola Bola-Lawal was on the trip. Each students and staff were given copies of Gateway Mirror.The Gateway Mirror of Dec (20-26) 2009, published a story to commemorate the visit on page 21
